Who can be a member?
Anyone who has a dual or single sensory loss or who supports the aims of the group can be a member of DBWA.

Membership is divided into four categories, Ordinary membership, Associate membership, Family (immediate) membership and Organisational membership. Since 1 January 2026, DBWA no longer charges a Membership fee, it is now FREE MEMBERSHIP !
- Ordinary Members are those who are Deafblind or have a dual or single sensory loss (Deafblind, Deaf, Heard of Hearing, Blind, Low Vision).
- Associate members are those who are not Deafblind or have a dual or single sensory loss.
Who has voting rights at meetings?
Whilst all members can take part in discussion only full members (people who are deafblind, dual or single sensory loss) can vote.
What are the membership Fees?
Since 1 January 2026, DBWA no longer charges a Membership fee, it is now FREE MEMBERSHIP !
