Who can be a member?
Anyone who has a dual sensory loss or who supports the aims of the group can be a member of DBWA.
Membership is divided into four categories, Ordinary membership $25, Associate membership $25, Family (immediate) membership $50 and Organisational membership $100.
- Ordinary Members are those that have paid their membership fees and are Deafblind or have a dual sensory loss.
- Associate members are those that have paid their membership fee but are not Deafblind or have a dual sensory loss.
Who has voting rights at meetings?
Whilst all members can take part in discussion only full members (people who are deafblind) can vote.
What are the membership Fees?
Ordinary membership $25, Associate membership $25, Family (immediate) membership $50 and Organisational membership $100 per year.

We have two options for making your membership payment on-line.
- Pay by direct deposit, with an electronic funds transfer, DBWA bank account details below.
- Pay online using your PayPal account, or using your credit card, with secure PayPal, use the Pay your membership using PayPal button below.

To identify your payment and ensure that we enter it in our database correctly, please make sure to include the descriptor “Mship” and the initial of your first name, and your full last name in the payee description provided by your bank. If your bank does not allow this type of descriptor, please use your phone number instead.
